Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Nexus Business Hub LLC, doing business as WITLINQ ("WITLINQ", "we", "us"), collects, uses, stores and protects personal information in connection with our restaurant ordering service, our websites and our SMS alert program.

1. Information we collect

• Restaurant clients and their staff: business name, contact name, business address, email address and mobile phone number, provided when a restaurant contracts our service or signs up for SMS alerts.
• Restaurant customers who order by phone: the caller's phone number, the name given for the order, the items ordered and the pickup time. Calls handled by the AI assistant may be recorded and transcribed to fulfill and verify the order.
• Restaurant customers who order by QR code: the name given for the order, the table or entrance point, and the items ordered. We do not ask for a phone number on the QR page.
• Technical data: the status of the printing equipment installed in each restaurant (online, offline), timestamps and system logs needed to operate and monitor the service.
• Support calls: calls to our support line may be forwarded to a staff member or recorded as a voice message so that we can return the call.

2. How we use the information

• To take, price, confirm and print orders for the restaurant.
• To let the restaurant recognize returning customers by name and phone number.
• To monitor the equipment and send operational SMS alerts to restaurant owners and managers who have opted in.
• To provide support, invoice our clients and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. SMS alert program

Restaurant owners and managers may opt in to receive transactional text messages from WITLINQ, such as notifications that their order printer went offline or came back online, or that the ordering service is temporarily unavailable. Message frequency varies with the status of the equipment; typically 0 to 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time and HELP for help, or email support@witlinq.com.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Sharing with service providers

We use third-party providers solely to operate the service on our behalf, under contracts that restrict their use of the data: a cloud telephony and AI voice provider (to answer calls), a messaging carrier (to deliver SMS and support calls), cloud hosting and backup providers (to run and protect our systems), and Google Workspace (to keep the restaurant's customer list in a spreadsheet owned by us). These providers may not use the data for their own purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law.

5. Storage, security and retention

Data is stored on servers located in the United States and Europe, protected with encryption in transit (TLS) and encrypted backups. Access is limited to authorized personnel. Order data is kept only as long as needed to operate the service; customer lists belong to each restaurant and are deleted when the restaurant ends the service. Call recordings are kept by the voice provider for a limited time and can be deleted on request.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop receiving SMS alerts, by replying STOP to any message or by emailing support@witlinq.com. California residents may exercise their rights under the CCPA through the same contact; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by that law.

7. Children

Our service is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version.
